Basic Norwegian: Progress is an independent language-learning application published on Google Play. The app is developed and maintained by an individual developer. For any privacy-related questions, please use the contact information at the bottom of this page.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Basic Norwegian: Progress does not require you to create an account, provide a username, or share an email address. The app works entirely offline for its learning content. The only network communication is with Google Play services when required for installation, updates, purchase processing, or purchase verification. We do not operate any servers that receive personal information from the app.
We do not collect:
— Names, email addresses, or usernames
— Location data
— Device identifiers for tracking
— Individual usage analytics or behavioral data (Google Play may provide anonymous, aggregated statistics such as install and uninstall counts — this data cannot identify you personally)
— Any other personal information
3. Payments and Premium Access
Basic Norwegian: Progress offers an optional Premium version purchasable through Google Play Billing. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Google — we do not receive, process, or store your payment details, card information, or billing address. The app may communicate with Google Play to verify Premium purchases and restore purchase access. This communication is handled by Google Play and does not provide us with your payment information.
4. Third-Party Services
Basic Norwegian: Progress relies on Google Play services for app distribution, updates, licensing, and optional in-app purchases. We do not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or other third-party services that collect personal data on our behalf.
5. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Basic Norwegian: Progress does not require user accounts and does not collect personal information, there is very little personal data associated with use of the app. If you believe personal information has been provided to us in error, please contact us using the information below.
6. Data Security
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our end, there is no personal database that could be compromised. Your app progress is stored locally on your own device and is subject to your device's own security settings.
